Karine & Nick | Wedding Day | The Crown Hotel, Harrogate

Ah, The Crown Hotel in Harrogate. So glad to be back here! I've loved shooting here in the past and often use the nearby and beautiful Valley Gardens for engagements shoots. I actually shot two for Karine and Nick, mainly because the first one saw us trying to survive unharmed as we crossed thick, treacherous ice that covered pretty much all of the gardens! Apart from that (and being very cold), we found some shelter before the snow began to fall - which is when I got my favourite snap!

Fast forward a few months and we paid another visit to Valley Gardens for engagement shoot number two! It's the first time I've done two shoots but before long it felt like photographing friends rather than clients!

I love the personal side of wedding photography. It's unlike any other wedding service, I get to see the nerves, excitement and anticipation of the morning preparations to the emotions felt by the bride, groom and their families during the ceremony and speeches. It's something that not many people get to experience, and makes my job one of the best in the world! This wedding was no exception, and I was blessed with so many photographic opportunities that I was spoilt for choice.

It's been hard to choose, but here's a selection of some of my absolute favourites!
